Vintage, late Art Deco period, Sterling Silver, Albert watch chain with 2 dog clips

This is a very wearable chain, either as a simple watch chain as intended or a very stylish short necklace!

The curb links are a consistent width of 4.4mm, the style of this watch chain is typical of the Art Deco era, with cleaner lines and a simple design. The chain has 2 matching dog clips to either end, both hallmarked with the date letter for 1939

The chain would look great worn as a short necklace with the dog clips worn at the front and can be added to a group of chains or worn alone

Both dog clips are in excellent condition, with strong hinges

Dimensions: 38cm/ 15 inches end to end, links are 4.4mm wide

Hallmark: Lion Passant and Birmingham assay to both matching dog clips, date letter for 1939. Lion passant to all links (for Sterling Silver)

Makers mark: HP to both dog clips and the chain

Condition: Very good vintage condition, the chain has been thoroughly cleaned. The Silver has a lovely mellowed patina
