Gorgeous Vintage 2 strand cultured pearl necklace- with 9ct white gold clasp set with tiny diamond chip from c1920s/30s

The pearls are all one size - 6mm approximately and are individually hand knotted - they hang beautifully and are a cream colour with peachy pinky overtones with a little olive overtone too- gorgeous, shiny iridescence

The clasp is a beautiful feature - oval in shape featuring a bow motif with central small diamond chip in a Diamond shape with millegrain detailed surround

The clasp works as it should and closes with a reassuring click

The clasp is marked 9ct for 9ct gold and is stamped with the makers mark - LOTUS - this is an early lotus cultured pearl necklace not to be confused with simulated pearls like their later productions

The shortest string measures 39cm / 15 1/2 inches long including the clasp (so length when worn)
