Victorian, Sterling Silver, Hand Engraved Locket

A Big and Beautiful Victorian Hand Engraved locket in Sterling Silver c1880s

This Quality antique Locket features a central panel of exquisite hand engraving of Ivy leaves and rolling scroll motifs, with a raised central section with silver ball detailing.

The locket is Plain polished Silver to the rear and remains in super condition, on the original bail ready to wear, suspended from an antique Silver chain or ribbon

The locket opens and closes perfectly with a good click, the inside is complete with photo frame inserts both sides (there is no glass inside the locket) perfect for adding a special photo or keepsake

The locket is unmarked, has been tested as solid Sterling Silver 925

Weight: 23.5 grams

Dimensions: 66mm long including bail, 40mm wide, 14mm depth

Condition: very good antique condition, No dings or dents to the front of the locket, there are a couple of very slight, very shallow undulations to the rear, not at all detrimental or noticeable but should be mentioned
