



Victorian Sterling Silver Albertina Watch Chain Bracelet, Hallmarked 1896
A rather beautiful Victorian Sterling Silver Albertina watch chain (The Albert chains prettier sister) that can be worn as a bracelet, dated 1896
A lovely quality albertina chain made up of beautiful infinity links, belcher links and 3 ornate balls. The chain terminates with a larger ornate ball and tassel that hangs down when worn as a bracelet
Unusual to find a hallmarked Albertina especially with the date letter that of course accurately dates the piece.
The dog clip presently clips to the hallmarked jump ring that makes the wearable length 19cm 7 1/2 inches long We can have a larger silver jump ring added if preferred and make the wearable length longer or shorter (please enquire about this alteration)
Hallmarked: All links have the lion passant stamp (for Sterling Silver) and date stamped for 1896 to one of the links which are original and matching with makers mark W.H.C. The dog clip is stamped SILVER to the inside
Weight: 14.2 grams
Dimensions: 19cm / 7 1/2 inch long, The 3 ornate balls are 8.2mm round, the end tassel is 9mm wide, other links are 5.65mm at widest point
Condition: Excellent antique condition, (the aged patina to the silver has been retained)
