Victorian Silver and Turquoise cabochon Heart locket c1880

This striking antique Locket is hand crafted in silver with a gold wash finish and set with hand cut and polished natural Turquoise cabochons, pave set to the front of the locket. The original bail is set with 3 Turquoise cabochons ready to wear suspended from a silver chain or ribbon

The locket is glazed to the rear and can have a keepsake added or small photo, we would recommend the glazing be removed by a jeweller as they can be a little tricky

The Natural turquoise range in colour from teals to brighter blue and contrast against the aged patina of the Silver

Dimensions: 33mm high including bail x 18mm wide

Condition: very good antique condition - some tiny nibbles from a couple of the turquoise commensurate with age of the piece and only visible under magnification
