A beautiful Victorian 18ct Gold & Rhodolite Garnet Locket with glazed reverse c1880

Such a gorgeous piece, that is ready to wear with care. Hand crafted in vibrant 18ct gold, featuring a raised engraved woven design to the front, bezel set to the centre with a deep pink Rhodolite Garnet. The top section is hinged, there is a further bail at the top that has been later applied to enable a jump ring to be threaded through. (The jump ring is presently very small we can change to a larger 9ct jump ring if preferred at no extra cost)

The Rhodolite Garnet is such a vivid deep pink colour that contrasts beautifully against the rich mellowed 18ct Gold

Unmarked, tests as 18ct Gold, the top bail and jump ring are 9ct Gold
