A rare and fabulous, super quality, Victorian Scottish 15ct Gold and Agate locket c1860s

The locket features a beautifully striking design to both the front and rear, Impeccably hand crafted the colourful polished Stones, including Montrose agate, Jasper and Bloodstone are inlaid within hand engraved 15ct Gold that contrasts to stunning effect, the locket is suspended from the original hand engraved bail ready to hang from an antique gold chain

A rare and special piece, the locket is is in beautifully preserved condition, clearly it has been cherished over its 150 years!

The inside has the original glass insert (we would recommend asking a jeweller to take the glass insert out if you want to add a photo or keepsake)

The locket closes perfectly with a soft click

Unmarked, fully tested as 15ct Gold throughout
