Victorian 15ct Gold, Amethyst Bow pendant

A Late Victorian 15ct Gold & faceted amethyst pendant from c1890s

I love this hand crafted solid 15ct Gold pendant as it is quite unusual in it's design - as many of these are set with seed pearls this pendant has solid gold balls set amidst the claw set Amethysts on an openwork circular frame. The central amethyst is suspended by a solid bar spacer with a bow swag at the top - the loops of the bow creating little heart motifs- complete with a  Fleur de lis bail, ready to suspend from your favourite chain!

The round faceted Natural Amethysts are a deep violet hue that contrasts against rich and buttery 15ct Gold

The pendant measures 3.5cm long to the top of the bail x 2.15mm wide

Weight: 2.6 grams

Stamped to the rear 15ct for 15ct gold and fully tested

Condition: Excellent antique condition
