An original Art Deco Diamond ring, featuring a 0.46 carat, transitional cut Diamond, within a round bezel setting with an angular frame to each corner giving the setting a square profile.

The ring features beautiful raised, pierced shoulders accentuated by 3 single cut Diamonds and millegrain detailing to each side of the principal Transitional cut Diamond, for a touch of extra sparkle

Transitional cut Diamonds were cut between the 1920s- 1940s when advancements were made in Diamond cutting techniques - A transitional time- hence the name transitional cut- the cut is somewhere between the old European cut and the Modern Brilliant 

The setting sits atop an angular profiled band, typical of the Art Deco period

The ring would make a gorgeous vintage engagement ring

The Diamond is eye clean, bright and white: 4.8mm round and is estimated in the setting as , 0.46 carat, Colour H, clarity, VS2

Unmarked, tested to confirm 18ct Gold and Platinum

The setting sits off the finger by 5.9mm
