Gorgeous 18ct Gold old cut Diamond and Sapphire ring from the Edwardian period c1910
I love this ring, it's very beautiful and unique in a very elegant and wearable style - set with 2 square cut cornflower blue Sapphires amidst 8 old cut Diamonds, the shoulders feature a hand carved Art Nouveau floral motif The sapphires are a beautiful translucent cornflower blue, the old cut diamonds are all well matched and add a super shimmering sparkle to the setting The ring would make a lovely Antique engagement ring - it sits next to a band and is very comfortable to wear The ring is unmarked - the 18ct stamp or hallmark may have been removed due to a historic resize- tested as 18ct Gold UK ring size: OUS ring size: 7-7.25 Weight: 3.6 grams Condition: The old cut diamonds are all in excellent condition, there is a nibble from the corner of one of the sapphires but this isn't visible to the naked eye and not detrimental.
