Edwardian 15ct gold, amethyst & seed pearl drop pendant necklace, fancy 9ct gold trombone link chain

A very beautiful, Edwardian openwork pendant in 15ct Gold and set with seed pearls and a faceted round Amethyst

This is a fine quality antique pendant, beautifully hand crafted. The larger section of the pendant is a flower head motif in 15ct Gold openwork - 2 flower shaped frames are set within with seed pearls and a central bezel set deep violet round amethyst takes centre stage - the pearls are all creamy and lustrous, a matching round amethyst and a seed pearl are set to the top articulated section- the pendant is so skillfully made- the gold work is perfectly neat!

The pendant is on an antique, integral fancy trombone link chain in 9ct gold and closes with a spring bolt clasp

The pendant is stamped 15ct for 15ct Gold The bolt clasp on the chain is stamped 9ct (the chain is 9ct Gold) - both are tested

Weight of chain and pendant : 4.8 grams
