Antique, Alabaster & Wilson, 15ct Gold & Split Pearl, Horseshoe Brooch

A beautiful Antique 15ct Gold and split Pearl brooch made c1900 by Alabaster & Wilson

Alabaster & Wilson are a very collectable and highly acclaimed bespoke Jeweller, established in 1897 making exquisite pieces in their Birmingham Jewellery quarter base. Much of their work was equestrian themed, this brooch being one of their earlier pieces from the late Victorian to Edwardian period

The brooch is beautifully hand crafted in gleaming, rich, 15ct Gold, featuring a seed pearl set horse shoe motif to its centre. Each split pearl is creamy and iridescent.

The brooch comes complete with what appears to be the original case, retailed by J. Strachan of Scotland

The brooch exudes quality and thankfully remains perfectly preserved!
