A beautiful and rare Antique 9ct rose Gold locket ring from the early 20th Century c1915
The ring has a hand engraved monogram to the front of the locket that reads E C, no doubt the first initial of the names of 2 sweethearts who were separated during the First world war (1914-1919) The locket contains a photo of the young soldier that would have given the ring as a symbol of commitment and remembrance
The locket section sits upon rounded profile wide shoulders that graduate down to the rear of the band, 5.7mm at the shoulders to 2mm at the rear

Condition: Very good vintage condition, the hinge has a little play in it when opened but is still good and strong, there is a little bit of a rattle when the ring is shaken but this does not effect the functionality of the locket, the front closes securely
