Victorian 9ct Gold fancy link longuard chain / muff chain c1890s

A wonderfully versatile longuard chain that can be worn doubled or trebled around the neck, worn alone or layered with other chains. This example is a little different, made up of 4 round faceted belcher links interspersed with a longer and slightly wider faceted fancy Tulip link that adds interest and more detail throughout this gorgeous chain.

The dog clip is a lovely feature in itself and looks great worn as is, but can also be used to suspend a charm or pendant, that's easily interchangeable as the mood strikes you!

Dimensions: 140cm/ 55 inches long, Tulip links are 3mm wide, belcher links are 2.7mm wide

9C (for 9ct Gold) tag to the chain for 9ct Gold and stamped 9C to the dog clip (fully tested to confirm)

Condition: Excellent antique condition
