A lovely chunky curb link Day and night, Edwardian bracelet, so called due to it's reversible nature, wear plain side by day and the fancy embossed side by night! In warm subtle rose Gold throughout

This beautiful Edwardian Night and Day bracelet is a particularly chunky example as the hollow form curb links are 13.4mm wide! The plain polished heart padlock clasp is also a large size and is fully hallmarked to the rear for 1908

Nice and weighty at over 30 grams, giving the bracelet a nice drape on the wrist

The heart padlock clasp closes with a good click and stays securely closed, the bracelet also has a safety chain for added security, in 9ct Gold

 

Hallmark: to the padlock clasp, assayed in Birmingham in 1908, The links are stamped 9c to the plain side

 

Makers mark to the Padlock: E.W & S for E. Whitehouse and Son of Birmingham

 

Weight: 30.3 grams

 

Dimensions: 21cm / 8 1/4 inches long (when closed including clasp), 13mm wide links, the heart padlock is 28mm high x 19mm wide x 3.6mm thick

 

Condition: Very Good antique condition, the heart padlock clasp bears a clear well defined hallmark to the rear and and is amazingly well preserved no dings or dents. The links have a solder line (how it was origianlly made) that can be slightly seen, not detrimental and adds to the antique appeal but should be mentioned.
