1940s, 18ct Gold, Rock Crystal Quartz, Solitaire Ring

A 1940s 18ct Gold and faceted Emerald cut Rock Crystal Quartz ring, made in Sweden in 1945

The faceted rock crystal quartz is simply stunning; Like a pool of crystal clear water the Emerald cut Quartz glimmers and shines ethereally on the finger. On a raised bezel setting with raised ornate shoulders that fall to a comfortable D shaped band, all in rich and warm solid 18ct Gold with a soft rosey hue

The ring is of fairly large proportions and looks very eye catching worn as a statement ring, presently a large size that can easily be sized down

Swedish Hallmark, assayed in Gothenburg in 1945, Swedish control mark (T8 stamp that denotes the year 1945) 18K for 18ct Gold
