I love this Art Deco ring with it's unusual octagonal design, the square Sapphire is offset to appear diamond shaped within the geometric, octagonal setting creating a very striking look on the finger and something a little bit different!

Synthetic Gemstones were often used in Fine Art Deco Jewellery and are the same chemical composition as natural gemstones, there was much time and effort went into their production, the 1920s was a break through era for synthetic stones

This hand crafted Art Deco ring features a stunning square faceted, rich, deep inky blue Synthetic Sapphire to it's centre, bezel set in Platinum with millegrain detailing: slightly raised above a halo of eight, super sparkly well matched old cut Diamonds. The setting sits atop knife edge shoulders that fall to a slightly angular shank, typical of the period

The ring looks stunning on the finger and would make the most beautiful and well received engagement ring! It is comfortable and practical to wear, the setting is close to the finger

The synthetic Sapphire is 5.5mm x 5.5mm, with an estimated carat weight of 0.65ct

8 old European cut Natural Diamonds of 2mm round approximately, with a total Diamond weight of 0.55 carat, SI1-SI2 clarity, colour
