Victorian 18ct Gold, Double Snake, Swivel Fob, Pendant, By Manton & Mole, Hallmarked 1880

A fabulous and rare, Victorian 18ct Gold, double snake swivel fob by acclaimed makers, Manton & Mole of Birmingham, hallmarked in 1880

This beautiful heirloom piece can be worn as intended and suspended from a watch chain or can be worn as a stunning pendant

A heavy gauge fob, completely hand crafted in the most vibrant and rich, solid 18ct Gold; Long solid 18ct Gold tubular sections are hand crafted into the double snake motif that cleverly entwine themselves to become the bail at the top and both heads slither down to embellish the left and right side of the fob. Each snake head is unique and fully detailed to include a slithering tongue and hand engraved eyes and scaly head! Sounds scary but they are really rather cute!

The central swivel section features a shiney bloodstone to one side and a carnelian to the other, both of which have been professionally repolished and are beautifully gleaming!

The fob swivels on the hinges quite stiffly so stays in place well when worn in your preferred position
